quick pour using red black and white on a quad of 6×6 canvas. I also bought my creative bible today!!! I have been wanting a bible to journal in and I finally picked one today. how fun is that? I can’t use my water color brushes or my markers but the gel pens work great!!! next step is find a bible study I want to participate in. Do you have any recommendations on a bible study?

I hate wearing gloves tho.

I am also thinking of painting a quote on the above large canvas what do you think?

I have found a much better way to use up those 8×10 canvases. When u have a left over dirty pour cup it’s nice to have tiles on hand to make up a set of matching coasters. the variety of paint quality produces some very cool effects.

I have an official studio to create my paintings!!! I’m super stoked to have my own space and to finally be able to reclaim the house!!!it’s really an awsome space as I get more finished pieces the walls will definitely look better. beautiful paint in a cup that just poured on a tile for a coaster ……the canvas I just poured on will require some touch up black but I am loveing negative space…..

what colors are your favorite? What colors should I mix on my next piece?

I am a huge huge Mad Season fan!!! So it’s not uncommon for me to listen to the album over and over! especially while pouring paint. Does it affect the way the paint flows? I kinda think it does. hence the name of this piece is river of deceit. Have you ever been deceived? How did or does it make you feel? I thought I was coming to work for a surgeon that would value me as a part of the team…. and mentor me as a first assist with him in surgery…. deception!!!! I have learned a lot over the past year and continue to learn almost every day. Indeed I have grown to love many aspects of my new career most of the people I work with being what I love most!!! One day maybe I will be brave enough to tackle this big of a canvas with resin. until that day I will use a deceptive app that can turn my small canvas (12×12) into a huge work of art in a classy home!!! Rivers of deceit and dreams for the future!!!

Today I played with resin again. Behold the Milky Way the picture is not nearly as gorgeous!!! I’m excited I’m about to have a real studio (she shed)!!!! tons of storage and a great place to escape and paint. It will likely be a while since we r both super busy but something to strive for before Christmas maybe!
