what r u listening to while u paint? My pour’s tonight were disappointing!!!! I basically had 2 negative space fails!!! I have to prime before I can pou again!! fist try WAY TOO MUCH PAINT and the negative space had too much going on !!! the negative space was a swipe which created the too much happening but still learning so. This is such an addicting expensive hobby… so is my other hobby tho which reminds me I need to go get my prints done. What r ur hobbies? Much love,Jamie

I am ready for whatever comes at me!!! On a serious note I’m preparing to do the less fun part of the paintings…. varnish. I doubt seriously this evening gets by without a new pour tho!!! this one from yesterday evolved more than I wanted but the colors match my rug so she will look lovely on my mantle! I already have the colors and techniques in my head if I don’t change my mind last minute!!! I truly love the loss of any control this allows!!! Much love,Jamie

I can’t even explain the satisfaction and joy that comes from mixing these paints and mediums and the beauty that comes from it!!! Today was rough to say the least!!!! It is never easy to tell a patient they have metastatic cancer!!! It is particularly hard when it is the last thing anyone ever expected and so young! The helplessness is gut wrenching!!! I hope with my prayer and care I was able to let us both turn it over to the lord!!! God IS good ALL the time!!!!!

As usual here I am impatiently flying by the seat of my pants lesson learned: make sure you have plenty of the custom mixed paint u plan to use. I love this piece and it will be touched up and varnished to live in my space, mostly love the lessons it taught me. This hobby is quite addicting and can be expensive as well. I want a dedicated space to do this but it’s just not going to happen right now so I will continue to take over the rest of the house as I move to bigger pieces. Keep your heart happy and your creative spaces creating!!!
